Why not? it's in the "wrong" place anyway. You'd have though a moderator would have sorted that out
Bumper and tank out, started removing the rotting trunk floor.
More cutting and grinding.
Slowly, had life get in the way.
Still have the other side and middle to do. Might have some time this weekend. We will see.

It has some surface rust on package tray from what I can see haven’t torn into that yet.

Ya it didn’t help that the guy I bought it from had it outside under a tarp for years either, the interior floors are spotless , doing trunk now so I can put new fuel tank in.

Trying to do little projects at a time and keep it on the road so I can enjoy it, it’s already been down longer than I wanted. I don’t want it in project jail.
Project jail is awful. Garage monuments are useless

Yes new body mount brace that ties into trunk support/ gas tank mounting. Ordered everything from opg,was a kit came with everything.
Didn’t get any pictures of it going together. Here’s one where I hadn’t cut it out yet.
