My first couple test runs were on an ice chest, going to Subway, but that was too high for my next test runs, so a milk crate was used to drive to and from drivetrain shop. Milk grate for the win.
Cycled my springs after work. a 2x4 actually worked perfect to make up the 1.5" thickness of the springs below the main leaf.
Ended up with 11.25" static travel. It goes just negative. Ill try it and see how long they last. Was hoping they would get me a bit more travel.
Very pleased with everything. Shocks, driveshaft, anti wrap bar. It all works flawlessly together, no binding, super smooth. Articulated the axle and the tires dont hit the shocks. (EAT YOUR HEART OUT HEATH )
So to wrap it all up, I really like these. The offsets work perfect with an aftermarket spring perch that has 3 hole locations. (my 52s were in the center hole, these are in the front hole).
My axle stayed exactly where it was with the 52s, didnt have to touch the antiwrap bar at all. Really glad about that.
If i set the 52s to stop at bump travel when they were flat, i had about 7-8" total travel. These are netting me 11.25 total static, at just negative spring arch on bump travel.
My ORD springs up front are set at about 11.50 travel. So now my front and rear match pretty well.
Overall, im super happy and really excited to go test these
