Hard to tell in the pic with it on the ground. Can you get a better pic of it? You usually shoot for parallel to the ground. I have a raised steering arm and a 2" drop pitman on my 67' that has a 6" lift.
Ouch

I hear that. I always feel bad for my dad with the 3/4 ton burb.
What's the price of gas by you now? It's like $4.15 out here last I looked.![]()
That's not too bad (relatively speaking). I can't wait until we move out of here with the crazy cost of everything. Get back to reality for a bit.
Where in the states are you headed?

they are nice and quiet for a big tire.Sold the Tons for 1800. Will not go over 35's for a while and this is more of a mild wheeler, camping, fishing, etc...When these 35's wear out I am thinking of going Tons...well 3/4, Probably 14bff rear and 8-lug hubs on the D44.

Good for you!
While the majority of us are suffering from "upgrade fever", you'll be out there actually driving and enjoying your 1st Gen!
You've got a nice moderate tire size there, so I don't ever see a need for a D60 up front. Maybe a few chromo parts in a D44 and you'd be set.
Hurry up and pull that top..... get a few shots topless and enjoy some nice Autumn drives before the real cold weather sets in. Bring the dogs, get some pumpkins....look at the changing foliage.
