Stripped lugnut or stud.. help!

Is the tapered seat still inside the wheel or did it back out?

I got one off with a nut breaker once. They tend to have a bit of an angle built into them, but whether or not one will fit depends on the design of the wheel. Do you think you can cut the end of both the nut and stud off together? If so, you can grind a notch in the end of the stud for a screwdriver - if it's not super seized to the nut.
I have no idea? All I can see is the front of the wheel and the back of the drum.

I used to cut them off with a plasma cutter. They were those chrome covered steel nuts that always rounded off . worked gpood and didn't burn the aluminum wheels.

not sure how it could be dangerous.......with all the other nuts still on it?
You never implied leaving any lug nuts on it.

Consider what you wrote. some inexperienced kid tries it and drops the truck on himself because your dumb idea and shitty instructions. That’s how people get killed

reads to me that all the nuts are still on ??
After re-reading your post, I see where there could be some misconceptions. But I do see where you posted "loosen most of the way"
Not sure what else to say...

Guess I should of said part way, and most of the time a pry bar between the brakes and wheel is enough to bind the stud and get the nut off, it is just much easier to use the trucks weight....and yes leave the jack holding some weight.
