Make new bolt down tabs in the am . Then crimp & shrink wires and paint when time happens. Yes 6" gap between bed and cab but planned for equipment storage space .
And yes A$$ high cause its already got aftermarket HD replacement leaf springs in the back like new .
Had to ditch 1 long toolbox left side . Moved med size box from right to left . Then added water box for sealer brushes . Placed the cooler up front . And locked down the tank with room upfront for tar boxes for crack filler .
Got the bed locked down solid with 10 5/8" bolts and 4 1/2" bolts . Lights all work and just needed a solidstate electronic flasher for the led light hyperflashing .
Mount burned in for the LED warning light . Had to go higher to see over the sealer tank from rear . Nice buyers unit with lots of patterns . It was on the truck already .
Next was 2 grab handles and a ladder to get up on the bed . Rebar for handles and recycled steel for ladder . Added expanded metal strips for traction .
Then i finished out the tank pipes. Dump threw the bed so the 2" pipe wont hang over side and be a pain in our side as you walk past like other truck has . Just need to tweek the exhaust pipe and its done .
Then making a set of rails for the back out of the old beds rails .
My corner down at my buddys shop . Upper and lower level with roads to each . Gravity fill tanks now to save time . 250gal water tote trailer for bulk water . Old original trailer down below for bulk overflow storage if we need a tank dead empty .
