Supplies for B.B.

I was and still will start a thread explaining why it is now an issue. Short version, sitting city council, every last one of them, is anti motorized vehical on the trails. They are looking for reasons to shut off roaders out of City facilities.

Off road in general is under attack especially out west. Most do nothing or do not know until it's too late. I just attended a hearing a couple weeks ago and witnessed the powers that be go against the majority again. $$$$

Edit to clarify: doing nothing mostly because it's hidden until the last minute and nothing can be done.

Interesting you mention that. Amber has a lot of family in Moab, and we go down there for a family reunion every year. Plenty of businesses and streets named after her family, yadda, yadda. Anyway, talking to some of her family about just that situation. People in their 70-90's that have lived in Moab their entire life. Basically they laid it out, about 15-20 years ago younger, liberal people started moving into town and all started running for office, and the next thing you know, all the rules have changed. The old-timers just didn't want to deal with being in charge anymore, so once the new people started wanting to run it was easy for them to take over.

I figured that was the case. It's why I started getting involved in our local government.

I also told Wade @ashman might have connections to help out if a new location for the Q needs to be found next year. Hopefully we can avoid that by following the rules. As stated, these technically aren't new rules, just that now there's a motivated council in charge that's taking on enforcement first hand.
