Hahaha trust me I've been playing with my own emotions. I found a 2000 chevy 2500 with a bunch of miles on it but i can pay for it outright and it is actually pretty clean. We'll see what happens when i take it for a ride tomorrow

Define "a bunch of miles"

Yeah...rust belt IFS Chevy with "a bunch of miles" doesn't inspire confidence.:doah:

It was a company truck from down south... the body has 300k on it but the trans and the engine were both rebuilt at 175k...

If it doesnt work out I'll walk away. Doesn't hurt to look i guess

I can't remember if I told you about the 2 2500's we (our company) has, my dads 03 just turned 380k and we also have an 02 with just over 300k on it. Dads is a 4wd 6.0 4l80 truck, engine and trans have never been apart, replaced a t case @275k , 2 water pumps, one fuel pump, instrument cluster went up around 200k, and one alternator. The 02 has had similar replacement parts, but all in all those trucks have been bullet proof, and they have not been babied at all, worked, towed with and used like trucks all their lives, good maintenance but non the less they both have a sh*t load of miles and both still run, drive and shift great.

That's why I asked about miles :D

So a lot of you guys know I have been looking for a truck. Well, I found one.

2003 Silverado 1500 LT with a 5.3, 109k. The thing is LOADED.

So this becomes the new DD and the Blazer gets some time off. Right now its future is uncertain, but hopefully I am going to keep it and she can finally get some of the work she needs done.
