Im installing my sye kit and it says to use a press to remove the bearings from the main sprocket is there any other way besides a press? its a 241

I never had to use a press. Are you talking about the two needle bearings that go next to each other on the main shaft under the synchro?

yes i was well i got those out but now im having the hardest time putting the new snap ring onto the new shaft to hold the main sprocket on....

Yeah, snap rings suck. Just work it on from one side of the ring to the other.
