i've heard you don't want togo more than.060 with these but don't have a source to quote on that. from what i remember just boring to 4.000 was a stretch, however stroking is definitely possible since these motors share journal sizes with the 454.



I have a TD 427 punched out to a 511 full roller for my mud truck. I had it built so i can't help as good with specs. But i had the machine shop start with a stock TD427 which was bored .125 over (4.375) and we added a 4.25 stroke crank to it. It has 12.82 final compression with some real nice cast heads. It made 685HP and 698TQ on the dyno. I can't wait to get it in my new mud truck for the up coming season.
