I’ve been living with the stock tune in my 89 with a .30 over 383 l31. Stock vortec camshaft. Had to upgrade the fuel pump, ep381, and still need go up the fuel pressure, but runs good enough. I have no plans to upgrade the ecm, I don’t want to go down that rabbit hole.
