Teck's '86 K5 Build -5.3 LS/4L65E swap

Awwww yeahh :D

You must be super psyched, I know I would be. What's left to do before it gets "finished'?

man... your truck is beautiful! the other video where someones walking around your truck with a camera. Reall sheads light on how flawless your truck is! good job bro! :waytogo::waytogo::waytogo:

Thanks, K5 JESS

That was me last night after I brought it back and rinsed it off.

That's awesome :waytogo: :woot: :waytogo: :woot:

Your truck has got to be one one the sweetest K5's on the planet, period ! I can only imagine how good it felt to drive it around again, I'm super happy for you :D ! Not that it needs to be said (again ), but awesome job   .......now get off the computer and go work on that truck :D

Thanks, Josh
It was a real good feeling to get to drive it around finally. Now I'm itching to get the other things done so I can drive it on the street. Very busy this month so it may be hard to get done as soon I as I want.

so pretty and shiny!!
awesome work man. get that puppy on the road and take us some poser pics. :D

You want more pics of which part?
I can take pic of what ever you want on it or the whole thing.

The whole truck!!! You dont have many "Full" Pics of it, mostly shots of parts you put in and such, and your video (idk if it was with your phone) was very skinny looking so It was hard to get a good look at the whole truck.

The only full ones ive seen since it is finished are of it on the trailer.

It looks Damm Good by the way :thumb:

Here's one from a few months back.
I will pull it out and take a few more tomorrow and post them.

Man that thing would kill it in the sand, especially with those tires :thumb:

The problem with sand is it goes ever were, I know from going to the beach.

mud is the same way... and sticky!

your truck turned out super sweet man! :saweet::saweet:

what are your plans for using it? with something that nice, I'd be scared to death to take it off road. :eek1:

Just drive it around and enjoy it on nice days.
Didn't build to take offroad anymore, did plenty of that in its early years.
If I need to do that I will just go get a beater for that not this one.:doah:

Looking for new tires, not many choices in 16.5.
Any recommendations between,
SSR radials and TrXus STS radails

You did an awesome job! I want to do the same to my K30 in the next few years.
Are you going to put the factory side molding and wheel well trim back on?

IMO I would run the SSR's as I personally think they look better than the STS.
