Found out tonight that my buddy has a bunch of new calipers with e brakes, so I'm set up for rear disk brakes on the 14ff. He bought all the machinery and part from a place that built alxes for rock crawlers.

That sucks. That was a good looking truck. All the work you are doing on the K5 is comming along nicely though.

It faired way better then the 300 I hit. My good friend owns a body shop so it will get fixed right, just sucks to have to deal with.

All the speaker wire for all the front speakers that will go to an amp under the front seat.

yes that is a gm dash pad, but they are a little pricey. I got mine price matched so that saved $100.00

Still waiting to get my seats back. Have been told that the stretch material is really hard to sew so it is taking alot more time to do.

I need a grill emblem if anyone knows where to get one. Mine is a little ruff.

Did you ever get this? I'm pretty sure I have the one off my '85 from when I put my aftermarket grille in.

Got more parts today from Classic Parts

Left hand battery tray for 2nd battery

The dash pad was on back order that I order , so I got them to price match the factory GM pad $96.95 off $399.00 instead of $495.95.
The dash trim was not GM and does not look right so it is going back.

Classic parts, I'll have to look into them. I also need the drivers side battery tray, both inner fenders and both the plastic dust guards that go in behind the inner fenders against the fire wall.
Are these parts better quality than LMC? LMC is where I was planning on buying mine but didn't know there was other options.
Thanks.

Sixb, Classic seem to carry more GM stuff. The battery tray was a GM product. Alot of LMC stuff is aftermarket.

Talked with a guy that has an '85 or '86 jimmy that is only going to use the running gear out of it. Told me I could have anything I need off it, I just need to let him know. Looks to have everything, Bodys in good shape, just got a quick look at it need to go take a longer look at it and find out what all he is not going to use.

It has the factory rear side planes I have been looking for to use to make new ones. :D :D :D

What are factory rear side panels? Edit: Never mind.
Cool project by the way:D

Finally got the bottom seat cushions back.:D Will get the seat backs next weekend.
