Teck's '86 K5 Build -5.3 LS/4L65E swap

So after some adjustment on the fan controls the fans come on around 185 degrees at 60% and and go up to 100% at 195 degrees or when the AC is turned on, seem to be cooling great. The AC is blowing around 40 degrees at the vents. Very happy with how it turned out. Here is a pic of the engine bay with the AC compressor on and the new fans installed. And at this point I think I'm about done with all the wiring.

Great job!!!
Very factory looking, just amazing:bow::bow:.

Finally goy to cruise around some today, sense the AC was done. It was 100 degrees this afternoon. AC is working great, couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Keep getting fuel trim lean codes ( p0171,p0174).
Not sure if it is tuning or fuel pressure.

Tranny pan has been leaking just a bit, so I fixed it today. Installed a new fel-pro gasket. What a f'n mess it was.

Good deal on the AC! I really want to do that soon (as we head into winter...) on mine soon! I have always hated dropping trans pans.

It was only about 88 degrees this evening and the vent temps where around 30 degrees. It may work better then I thought, I will watch it tomorrow. It sure does blow cold.:D

No the damn plug would not come loose it just started to strip.
So it was a mess to do.

I have heard if you put the socket on and tighten it then loosen it that it comes loose. I haven't been able to confirm it, I plan on somehow removing mine and actually putting one in that works.

Tried that, then got the impact out to keep straight presser on it and that didn't even work.

The Swampers should look better. How did those other tires balance/ride?
