Teck's '86 K5 Build -5.3 LS/4L65E swap

how about something that would stay a little flexible like plumbers putty or similar?

Not sure if it would work with those hot fluids. Would hate for something like that to get in the 4L65E

My 205 had a o-ring on the input side and 2 seals on the adapter. Is yours sleeve and input a 27 spline factory? if so i have both of those on my bench at home you could have if you want them.

Working on the rear disk brake set up now. Got the new MC today and it fit under the hood without the pad. I think it will be fine with the new hood pad, may leave a mark in it though.

Now I just need to get the rest of the parts, rotors, calipers, and studs.

Do you remember what part number or application this was for?

It's for a 99 C3500 w/ 4w disc brakes.
Then get fitting so you don't have to change the lines on the new master cylinder.

Just got 2 NOS AC vents(driver side) and an NOS silverado dash emblem ebay tonight. Now I just need to find the 2 NOS AC vents for the passenger side.

:pimp:

This ebay stuff sucks. I have been beat out on part that are going for stupid money. I'm amazed at the price of NOS 80's truck parts.

It's those dudes that are ATTEMPTING to sell $30k, square bodies.
Those are the guys that are bearing us out. :doah::haha:

Been gathering NOS parts to replace the cheap aftermarket stuff (most from LMC)I got when I started my rebuild and a few thing I didn't replace.

NOS door seals, inner top on cab seal, rh top seal, door handle and lock gaskets, headlight switch, pass seat side cover, and door sill plates.
Also got NOS door lock knobs, brake pad, and park brake pad

How hard was it to find those?

Do you have hydro assist? I'm curious how hard it is on a ls swap.
