I started it but had someone else finish it because there was not a lot of info out on the gen IV harness when I did mine.

Hard to believe it was 30 yrs ago today I brought this blazer home from the dealership and still have it.

Still having issues with it pushing gas out the fuel tank vent line sometimes when the tank is over 3/4 full.
Anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this problem.

Is this the filler vent or the small tank vent off of the sending unit?

The small vent tube line off the sending unit.
When I did the LS swap I changed the tank and sending unit to 87 and up style for fuel injection with an electric pump in the tank. Put a wilbro 250 in an had issuses when we where trying to get it started and it wasn't getting fuel. The guy thought th pump was bad and had an aeromax 350 or something. Not sure if it has to do with a higher volume pump or something else. I have the vent hose run up by the fuel filler to get it to the highest point I can back there.

Any low spots in the line? Are you sure the vent is connected to the correct port?

Is that little valve malfunctioning in the sending unit? Isn't there supposed to be sommething there to prevent that?

If you continue to have problems you could always cap it off and tee that vent line into the big hose for the fill up vent.

They do make vent caps to put at the end of the hose with a clamp if you decide to T it into the large vent hose.
