I live in Las Vegas, and I have been going around to some of the so-called "custom truck" shops that claim to do lifts and other custom work, and asking them if they install things like shackle flip kits, cross over steering, and high steer kits. All of them just give me a blank stare and say, "What is cross over steering"?
I then ask them if they are familiar with companies like your Missouri Off Road Outfitters, Off Road Design, Sky Manufacturing, and 4X4 Iron...they say, "Never heard of them."
Once I explain to them what some of the products from companies (like yours) do, they turn me down cold and say, "We will not install those items." Then most of them try to sell me on a Rancho or SkyJacker product. This seems to be the extent of these so-called "custom truck" shops knowledge is Rancho, SkyJacker, Smitty Built, or some other crème puff product.
The Las Vegas economy is pretty good here (shhh! don't tell no one), and there are a lot of people walking around here with money to burn in their pockets. I was thinking, Las Vegas would be a good place to set up a shop that distributed, and was familiar with all the products available for serious wheelers. There does not seem to be anybody else in town willing to install items from MORO, ORD, SKY, or 4X4 Iron...just to mention a few.
