How long is your rear shaft anyway, just out of curiousity?

[/ QUOTE ]

52" center to center

[/ QUOTE ]

Lol....same as mine, I'm just 12" shorter in WB and no doubler. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

How hard is it to adapt that anti-wrap bar to a 14B w/o the axle truss? I have always like your anti-wrap set up and I was wondering if I could get more info about it

[/ QUOTE ]

Without a truss the traction bar is mounted using the center section of a truss. A ring between the diff and cover and a pinion bracket with the mounting plate in between.

sweet how much lift and size tires???

[/ QUOTE ]
6" front springs, 4" rear springs and 4" ORD shackle flip. The tires are 35" BFG's. I am waiting on my 37" IROKs. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Wow, that's kinda weird, 8" of lift in the rear, 6" up front, and it still sags in the ass end.

Crazily enough, mine has 7" up front, and an echobit flip in the rear (5 3/4") and it has sat ass-high forever.

Freakin' awesome...
Still thinking about chopping the rear quarters off when you do a rear bumper ?
Is that front bumper about the same as your old yellow blazer ?
Your paint scheme is getting really close to mine with the bedliner on the bottom edge...All you need now is the racing stripes!

I'm digging the "Missouri Locks"! BTW - what the hell is that thing on the 14b? Anti-wrap bar?

[/ QUOTE ]

It is a 6 foot traction (anti-wrap) bar. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif It actually protrudes up through the floor. It is something we offer as a build to specs item. The front is mounted in an orbit eye and shackle setup to allow for full articulation. The wheels are actually stock radial Hummer wheels with a bolt on rock protector. I am running the runflats as well.

[/ QUOTE ]

are you usging the hummer beadlocks with 7" of back spacing?

They are regular Hummer wheels with the 7 inch backspacing. Running Dually front hubs and I had 3.5 inch billet steel /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gifhub centric spacers made for the rear with 5/8" studs.

Blake if you stare real hard at the front bumper I think you will recognize it. Try to visualize it on an old Blazer with a bumper sticker that says "I may be slow but I sure am fat!" /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif It was one of those parts left over after someone we know decided to go to a Heep. The design is exactly the same as the Blazer bumper with the addition of the bull bars.It took a little work but it looks good as new. I am still thinking about the rear bumper design and whether or not to chop off those pristine rear quarters /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif

An Oh by the way I think I will have to pass on the racing stripes /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Hmmmmmmmm..... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Those axles look familiar! /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

As always with you, Steve, great looking truck! The yellow K5 was awesome and then this Sub was awesome in stock form and now its beyond awesome! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I live in Las Vegas, and I have been going around to some of the so-called "custom truck" shops that claim to do lifts and other custom work, and asking them if they install things like shackle flip kits, cross over steering, and high steer kits. All of them just give me a blank stare and say, "What is cross over steering"?

I then ask them if they are familiar with companies like your Missouri Off Road Outfitters, Off Road Design, Sky Manufacturing, and 4X4 Iron...they say, "Never heard of them."

Once I explain to them what some of the products from companies (like yours) do, they turn me down cold and say, "We will not install those items." Then most of them try to sell me on a Rancho or SkyJacker product. This seems to be the extent of these so-called "custom truck" shops knowledge is Rancho, SkyJacker, Smitty Built, or some other crème puff product.

The Las Vegas economy is pretty good here (shhh! don't tell no one), and there are a lot of people walking around here with money to burn in their pockets. I was thinking, Las Vegas would be a good place to set up a shop that distributed, and was familiar with all the products available for serious wheelers. There does not seem to be anybody else in town willing to install items from MORO, ORD, SKY, or 4X4 Iron...just to mention a few.

Sorry guys, but I bet my Burb has more comfort and better on-road manners than both of their Burbs not to mention the bling factor of IFS (better brakeing and steering). /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif AND I have running boards! /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif
