I was helping my father in law move some gravel, and he started shoveling and I go to do something and come back and he had the mound edges all the way to the top of the bed rails on an 8' bed.
He said he couldn't put anymore because it will start spilling.
I ended up with 2 loads like that.
I never got it weighed but it was a 1ton and riding on the bumps tops all the way across town

Yep, he needed more towards the cab to match what's against the tailgate. And then it's farther away when the not 7' tall dude is shoveling it out!!
