On the C end he has a dual tapered cone that's received into the tube that the tailstock runs on. Kinda shaped like a king pin bushingYou got any other pics of how that was chucked up on the far end?

The chuck end was beyond what could slip inside the tube, so we had 2" of grab surface to allowing us that section that slipped inside to be that long
My last 79 Chevy 1/2 ton I had was setup with the 3 port tank valve. No return. It took me a bit to find a new one but I thought it was way simpler since only the valve switched the fuel and I think the switch controlled which sender it read off of. I replaced the valve and both senders and it worked perfect.

A rocket launcher and a second guageI think you will be happier in the end. I actually just picked up this switch:

to run the pump and decided to have a separate little gas gauge I'm going to hook up to the sending unit like this one:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-4314
that way I can know what the fuel level is in the transfer pump, and the normal gas gauge on the cluster will be for the main tank.
Still don't know how I'm going to mount them, but I will come up with something

It will fit 3 ARB sized switches, so it might, but will be tight.I thought the switch would look pretty cool...and as you know with my little kids, I wanted to have some sort of child proof, and that would be easy to know if it was on since it would be flipped up....and I thought what the heck, why not throw a little gauge on it too. I was thinking of maybe making something that fits inside the ash tray section, that way both the switch and gauge are hidden unless you want to use it. Not sure if both the gauge and switch can fit in that space, but I'll give it a shot
