No the factory rag joint, in good condition, should be fine

With traction aiding device, tire, lift, and crossover, it can spit those out if not in primo condition

Ran the hillbilly fuel transfer system. Took about 5 minutes to transfer half a tank to the passenger side

Moved the shifter down to the seat in reverse, its lowest trajectory

Will make it more comfortable running the hand throttle in L

Looks like a good spot... I remember one of mine, my fingers would hit the dash in first! Lol!

I cut a V notch from the bottom about 1/8" wide or so, leaving just enough meat on the top to pull the shifter down into place. Then ran the grinder across the cut so the weld would sit flush

No, they are not built that way. This will work fine for my short legs though, shifter doesn't violate into the pedal space
