Me 2.

I have an extree crossmember...was thinking of mounting it just behind the 208 and just welding plate to the two x members to bridge the gap.
Seen that before, seems to do the job
You can but it usually has bad side effects...
Especially after all the tranny fun Baba has had, keep those cases covered boys!

I recommend welding nuts to the crossmember, and *bolting* the skid plates to the cross. Otherwise it gets REALLY heavy REALLY quick. Even on a creeper on a garage floor, it's exciting to remove the skid in sections. Doing it all at once, just, eww.

Yours might be a bit shorter in overall length, but they get unwieldy real quick.

Skid plate done and painted
Repair done to the e brake , it was violated by my buddy's lift
Sorted some steering geometry
Replaced the axle in my other buddy's food truck
Rotated the tires and helicoiled the center cap bolts for the wheels.
Did some presto fixo to the vent tube/fuel cross over piping as it wasn't filling very nice at the pump.

Lemonade time

You have a buddy with a food truck? You've been holding out...
