Hey Guys!
So I'm new to the forum and I picked up my first Chevy truck (Always been a Jeep guy) a couple weeks ago and I figured why not start a build thread. Don't expect anything fancy or this this truck to be done in 3 months. I bought it to keep me occupied this winter while my wife is away.
So ya I figured I'd name this build The Bionic Bunny... Due to my current medical condition that allowed me to have TOO much free time on my hands to cruise KIJIJI. Thanks Kijiji
So here is a little back ground on the truck. Previous owner was a 65 year old guy who lived in the middle of nowhere and had owned it for over 10 years. His wife wanted the truck gone so bad that she even offered us money to take! He even had it delivered the 125 km's to our house for free.After we signed the paperwork I'm pretty sure he went back into his house and cried!
The registration says it's a 1987 Chevy 4x4 with a 305... After giving it a good look over I found a D60 front and 14 bolt rear stuffed under it along with a carbed 350 It has an auto and an 208 t-case. I'm guessing it has a 4" DC suspension lift along with a 3" square tubing body lift. Too bad that the 36" Swampers were weather cracked and useless along with the rusted out exhaust. Everything is oil covered from it sitting around since he didn't have it plated since 2002!!! My biggest issues with it at the moment are that it needs new cab mounts and some frame patching.
Any input or ideas are always appreciated!

. Alternator positive started welding to hold down strap, battery positive wire started melting and ground wire melted and cracked! What a waste of new wires...
