Haha, that's funny. I just sold a pair of those at the swap meet! A pair I didn't even know I had until I was cleaning out my shed.
God knows how much stuff like that I have that I don't remember.
I have been cleaning and finding all kinds of stuff

Silly question, but does the ORD brackets fix the caster angle the sas on the 2wd frame? I can't tell but do they drop lower then the factory 4wd core support and spring eye do?

That’s a good question … that I do not have an answer to. I would hope they took that into consideration. I guess I’ll know once I start driving this thing.

They appear to be but I can't tell, maybe you could measure both of your trucks? This issue is one of the reason I linked mine. @mrk5 ran into similar issues with his.

There does in fact appear to be a half inch difference. This first photo is of the red truck with a 4x4 frame. Measures 1 1/4”. The second photo is of the blue truck with the 2x4 frame. Measures 1 3/4”.

Don’t have anything picture worthy … but we are days away from test driving this thing. Honestly, I could knock this punch list out in one day, but time is limited.

I have two lists. The window list is big picture “project” items. The digital list is the actual individual little tasks that need to be done to be able to drive this thing.

I rank mine by just starting so in this case, it’s back to driver status.

Joking aside, I know that feeling and how nerve wracking it is. I bet if felt amazing checking that box.

Nerves of steel moments I guess, ha. There’s a whole lot to pay attention to on the first drive, so I think my focus was on how it was driving and not as much on that it was driving, lol. Some takeaways:

- The steering and braking need some work. I’ll be focused on that today.
- The ride felt pretty firm, which is what I was going for. More testing needed there.
- exhaust sounded pretty awesome, lol.
