That's for true.
Yes, they can be lot's harder to deal with since they can't usually just be shot or scared off!I have an AR7 in my backpack, and Glock 23c in my holster and a Judge Magnum 6" under the seat when I am camping.
The upright animals are more of a problem.
I get to picture whore again. Yeah.
97 Lance Squire Light. Because I didn't want to overload the truck.

I usually fire one into the ground as an "attention getter" to quote Sheriff Buford T. Justice. It really simplifies things. They know where the next one goes....
And know how to safely drive it without killing nuns!Nope. As long as I do not get paid to drive it, keep it under 80k pounds, under 8'-6" wide and under 13'-6" tall.
As long as they are not in buses, they are safe from me.

Greg more pics please...this is what I have in mind for my old CCDRW!Took the tarp off of the camper this evening and started the resealing process. Pulling old crusty silicon off and laying down fresh beads. Some had started to crack, and others looked my 4 year old did them. Ran out tonight as I only had a partial tube left, and I ran out of daylight.

Those are some cool setups!I currently have two "campers"
Actually they are more like tents.
But they suit my purposes well.
First off we have the RTT. (Roof Top tent.)
This lived on our Xterra for a while and then on our gmc canyon. It's awesome in every way you would think and sucks in every way as well.
It's served us well. It's been all around Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.

Hudson justs wants to hit the hay.View attachment 229953
Next I have the jumping jack trailer.
I don't have any " in action " shots of this as when we go this was about three phones before I knew about cloud storage.
This basically a tent on wheels. The deck is heavy enough to haul 1500lbs? I think.
I do have one the day we bought it and set up in front of the store for final checks.

And I have one closed up with the quads loaded.View attachment 229959
This thing has been all around Colorado camping, riding and elk hunting.
Great solution to someone that believe you still need to rough it little when your out in the woods.

Those are some cool setups!
I like the one with the quads on it.![]()
Thanks.
Wish, I had pics of the few times we used both of them for the weekend.
We would set up the root top for sleeping and the jumping jack as the general area, eating and relaxing. Then we would retire to the "penthouse" for the night. It works as a great separation of spaces.
I don't take as many pics camping as I should, I like to turn off the electronic stuff and get aways from it all while camping.
I have the same issue any time we are out with the family doing an activity. I have so much fun and forget to document any of it. I like to live in the moment, but sometimes wish I could go back and reminisce some more.
That's a cool shot. I want to get out soon and see some old mines and/or ghost towns. I love that stuff.Yeah, I am in agreement there I think it's best just to live in the moment. With all the social media these day everyone is so self-absorbed. I have found some really cool things over the years. View attachment 230225
Heres is an old mine. Nothing that hasn't been found before or anything but still cool.
Plus all the things one the side of the road. I just don't know how @campfire has the patience to take all those pics and post them.. I try, but i just doubt that anyone else would find the things (I think are interesting), interesting.
