Forest river is the midline brand. Been around forever and still are. Look for rot at the jack mounts and under the front overhang along the bottom sides. Also staining inside on the roof or walls. I have a Lance. Supposedly better brand. All of the stuff inside is the same brand as mine. But you have a stove and double sink that I do not.. If it is not gone by the weekend, something is wrong with it.

@ktmoutfront is fleetwood mid or bottom grade campers? The guys said he has had several other people call about it but he works weekends and can't show it until Monday which works great for me. Hopefully I'll be able to go check it out. It sounds like he has taken good care of it but I'll check for the stuff you mentioned.

It's not bottom. If it looks good I wouldn't worry about much. Mine was stored inside most of its life. So that was a bonus.

from what I've seen that looks like a real good price. Most around here in like condition are in the 5K and up range.

Well I'll be bringing it home tomorrow. Seems to be in good condition. The fro t window looks like it could use a resealing and the top of it cleaned with a good brush but I didn't see any water stains. Finding the frame anchor points for my truck has been a real pain

Thanks guys. It needs some work but it should work great. Have you guys converted the lights to led? Any tricks to re sealing windows. I can see some cracking around the front one. I think the mattress is original, can I just get any mattress to replace it or is there camper specific?

Some mattresses are thinner to help with height in a cab over bed.

Eileen bought a memory foam from Amazon. Was nice because it came rolled up in a box. Easy to install.

I went LED inside and out. Buy good ones. The cheap priced bulk stuff on eBay suck.

Nice! That's what were going to need. I was at a shop to get my frame mounts and they had a pack of bulbs that was around 50$ for maybe 8 bulbs. I almost picked them up. What brand battery do you guys recommend? The battery is pretty old too

I run mine off of the semi. 6 days at KOH dry camping. Running the heater every night, no big deal. My brother has a 12" square solar panel he sets on top of the camper. Go deep cycle.

That is one reason why I like to camp off the beaten path. It's not peaceful when I'm next to Hondas. Even quiet ones.

The loudest thing I use is my Coleman lantern (and that's mostly to drive off the bugs). When I shut that down for the night there is a beautiful silence that you will never find in a campground.

No. When I plug in I will. That battery was 9 years old based on the sticker on it.

I'm thinking we will probably get a generator someday for it. I'm super pumped to get out and use it. I'm trying to figure out a little test trip for it. Haha
