I don't think I've read on these particular engines, but a few years back some of the early DI's... Was making a generalization.

If it is oil getting past the valve seals, I'd think it would take a bit for that to polymerize esp w/ the intake air blowing past it keeping it somewhat cool..

After much discussion, about my brain issues while I was helping my son move, it was decided I need to cut back on projects. With the house build starting, less is better.

I listed the truck on FBMP at 4pm yesterday. Phone exploded. Shut my phone off at 11pm. Woke up to twice as many. One guy I was DMing with last night headed down from Nashville this morning. I did not know this. At 8am he asked me to call him. I was at breakfast with friends, did not see it until 9:30. He was sitting at IHOP waiting. Showed up and gave me full price. I should have asked for a bunch more.
I had a local stop by. Saw it on FB and new where it was sitting. Offered me $500 more. I don't do that.

It is sold and he will pick it up the end of next week. Did not want to haul it in the snow.

Now I have cash burning a hole in my safe.
