This is quickly turning into an awesome build. Very nice. :waytogo:

X2

Welcome to the restoration crowd :k5:, enjoy your stay! :D

The truck will remain lifted, might actually go bigger someday. I know i'm going to pickup some 40's in the future, and run it on what lift I have now. after I get my 14bff and dana44 front all together and whatnot. The truck will either stay flat black, or I might go with a semi flat black, not too sure yet. putting on a 73 style front clip. body is getting bushwacker cut outs, rockers cut out and square tubing added, with rocksliders/steps. new flooring, ect ect. lots of work left to do, I barely even started, but I got a long way from where I started. :)

Not sure if i'm gonna use the stock grill, aftermarket billet, or one of those nifty tnt's, I sure did fall in love with them.

I'd go stock with whatever front end sheet metal you put on it. There are plenty of different stock choices. From '73-'80 my favorite would be the '73-'74 grille (hard to find a good one cheap though), and from '81-'91 my favorite would be the '81-'82 grille. But that's just me. You have to do what you want.

Looking very good. :waytogo: You've gotten about 100x more done on your K5 than I have in the last 6 months and have had about 100x the setbacks.   Keep up the good work.

Yeah, its hard to say no to this, i think this will be how my front clip will be, with my personal touch of course. thanks for all the comments guys!

That is a pretty sweet grille I must admit. The guy who fabs those on here posted it and asked for some of us Photoshop guys to chop it for him. Here was my contribution. Disco balls!

Yeah, I was hoping to find somewhere a little cheaper

Ya I don't think you'll find anything much cheaper. But if you want to go the cheap route... don't you'll regret it.

For quality go to YearOne or Classic Parts of America. You'll pay a little more but the quality is worth it for fitment and overall longevity.
