ok so here is where i am at....Got most all the interior ripped out and the front clip is pulled, drivetrain is out, and bodywork is in progress. I ordered a new wiring harness from summit, and my buddy is gonna spray the interior from firewall to tailgate with spray-in bedliner for $300. I just ordered over $600 in trim and replacement parts from lmc and bought some new 4point racing seats off ebay

Its gonna be my new daily driver as soon as it goes in for paint and the bedliner, then i can put it back together and start driving it. it will go in for paint alot quicker if i can deciede what color to paint it, im torn between red and metallic blue.

this might help with paint selection , or make it harder to decide

Well I made up my mind, im gonna go as bright red as i can find. probably just a single stage. Anyone know of brand and color names? I am looking for Hot and Wild red

Also does anyone know how much paint A typical blazer takes to paint? Just the dash and doors are getting painted in the interior.

Also what is the best to use for the top? and how much paint do they usually take?

Ok not too much progress made after taking care of the lawn, and throwing up some more shelves in the garage to start storing some of the crap that is all over the floor.

I managed to get the rear tailgate skined on the interior side of it. Also got a portion of the bed floor cut out. Monday a guy i work with is supposed to be bring a shortbox bed floor for me to use for replacement pieces, A manual steering column, Clutch pedals, Stock AM radio, And a few other odds and ins. I traded him the factory Auto/ Tilt column for those parts and any others i may end up needing.

What is this tube that has these hoses going to it? Iis it neccesary to keep?

The hoses are for the "emissions" system. I believe the gas tank fumes exit in that area, although not sure why. Make sure you tanks vented well before removing them. The newer gas pumps around here would autoshut off on mine every two seconds for a while until I discovered a couple of those hoses were crimped shut. After fixing them, it fills fine.

Ok got a few more progress pics today, I cleaned up and re-painted my console to match the soon-to-be interior, And wire-wheeled most of the tub, and welded up all the holes that were drilled in the floor by the previous owner. And started the bodywork on the passengers side
