The Purple Camaro

Well the collectors are cut clean at the moment….

There was a lot of goat foxery going on for an exhaust system that looked nice at first glance

I think my side project car needs a side project thread just for the stuff on the back burner
Nodular iron mid plate for the Muncie

I used the weld on the pipe to my advantage and beveled the inside to suit

Trying to get it back together for the weekend donut run

Since the next day I can make the track is the 23rd, I would like to get the radiators swapped

So the mid plate is an upgrade that you found to add?

And what are you doing with the pipe? Press tool for a bearing?

The iron mid plate keeps the gears from trying to separate under load, since the aluminum mid plate can stretch

flaring it to better match the collector. Including the heads, there were 12 reversion points in the exhaust system
Based on rated HP vs MPH, I’m short 7 mph, about 50 HP or so

That exhaust shop might as well have routed the tailpipes into the air cleaner they had that thing so hot boxed...

I’ve been hot boxed like that before. I didn’t function real well either :haha:

Has one, seems to work

Cutting the ballast out. Don’t need extra weight, not class racing anymore

What is it for every 100 pounds you drop you loose a tenth on the ET?

Not gaining a lot, about 80 total pounds out of the car since last ti e at the track. But the weight bar was getting smacked by the shackle, so it has to go

Bar was loaded with lead shot #7. Plasma breeched the pipe. Hot lead everywhere Fantastic
