Well, it’s been a month I guess I’ll update this. Bottom end is put together.
Tore the heads down, polished and blended everything in the ports, and did a very light cleanup in the chambers. Have to be careful with these heart shaped chambers, because you can screw them up more than anything.
when I was putting the valve train back together cut one of the seals and apparently GM is the only one that makes them and they’re five dollars for one seal. Yay team.
Used my friends compressor a few weeks back. Can’t find my spring compressor

I have a long way to go to offset that differential. I figure he’s probably good for 11.0-11.5 at his track. I’d need 11.4-11.9 here to be comparable. That’s a full second and a tail wind!Just wondering if it will keep up with an old Pontiac.
