The R/C Garage... [R/C Drivers Lounge]

What do you guys reccomend I use for a weatherproof box for the new mamba max esc? It's going in my slash, it won't see any amount of water or anything, I just want to protect it if I end up taking it out in the snow.

i have used Tupperware and RadioShack project boxes. sealed them up with RTV. hope that helps

Cut the body mounts down on the stampede. Sits an inch lower roughly. Much better. Soldered traxxas connectors onto it and the battery.

Made a waterproof cover for esc as the duratrax element isn't waterproof.

so i dropped my motor out yesterday to tighten up my slipper and to install my lower gearset. also popped in a new servo. after reinstalling everything, my rig has no life..

so i get no turning to the servo, no power to the motor. and it just sits there and beeps. the esc will flash green and orange. wtf

Read the trouble shooting in the manual.

Bit something tells me all you need to do, is hold a buttuon down for a few seconds.

Wraith ESC's are set for LiPo, as a default.

Bet you defaulted it, and arent running a LiPo.
NiMH batteries set off the low-charge indicator on the esc.

Am I right?

i am running 2s lipos only expect for the first day i had it.

re-bind the radio to the receiver.

i'm 98% sure this is the answer. after dicking with it here at work and trying to calibrate the esc, i'm certain that my radio is doing nothing to effect the truck. so i either need to rebind, or my rx reciever crapped out on me.
