"The Raped Grape" turning wilted raisin... ***crash update, pics start post 600***

Well I need more to finish boxing my frame in. I could have bought way less like 3'x 5' probably but I got a really good deal on the steel from work so I just bought extra to have it around. Was only $130 a sheet. Those 1 3/4" x .120 wall x 20' sticks I got for $52 a stick

Gotcha :waytogo:

That's a smoking deal on the DOM :thumb: seeing as how I paid close to double that the last time I bought some:doah:

Presents from kurt. Just in time for christmas:thumb:

You wont need to use all 4 of them traction bar mounts. That style has a mount for both and top and bottom of the tube, defeating the purpose of having 2 bars like you planned.

Not saying you cant use them, but a set of tabs for shocks or something similar will probably look nicer and work better for you. Plus not have the extra mount and such hanging on top of the tube for no reason. Just food for thought.

Hes building two anti wrap bars. One on either side of the dif. The second one is more form over function.

Agh please remove the plasma cutter from the puddle...

The whole floor was a puddle :dunno:

I was getting the $#it shocked outta me when I was welding tho. The whole truck was soaking wet from the snow melting. Im having better success tonight. Shock free so far :thumb: Winning!

So today was a very successful garage day :thumb:

Got from the cab back all plated in and cross members built also tacked on my traction bar brackets.

It was 1am and Deuling and I decided we weren't tired yet so decided to get my new tie rod in and get my ram all mounted for my hydro assist. So we designed a bracket to be able to mount the ram parrallel with the axle tube and tie rod and run my hydro hoses out of the top of the ram.

Yah we are blessed with what we havè. There is a down fall however. Since we have so many different tools and resources we often spen alot of time wasted on stupid things. Today is a prime example. Instead of spending the day working on the truck like I should. Craig and I decided to get the snowmobile out. Found a car hood and have been pulling eeachother behind the sled in the field all day haha

Do you guys have to hold your breath around sparks to keep from exploding from the Busch Light? What does your tractor sticker say?

There's not enough alcohol in Busch Light to worry about igniting.
