"The Raped Grape" turning wilted raisin... ***crash update,pics start post 600***

Not a ton of progress today just got the cap off the 2wd box and got kerts cap in place. I wanted to be able to re use the snap ring and I know some of you said you had to break or bend it to get it out. So instead of doing that I busted the cap out and the ring came out perfectly fine so I reused it :thumb:

Just make sure that ring is fully seated !!!!!! It is not cool when the cap decides to eject from the box at the top of a rocky hill climb :doah:


Soo, is the rig scheduled to be crusin the dunes this summer ....more specifically for the 2nd dune party ?

Yah I def made sure to really seat the retaining ring.

And most defiantly it will be ready for this summer. I've got some ideas and plans yet for the power plant in this thing that I'm hoping I will be able to get done yet this winter. A lot of it is going to depend on a potential new job which I should hear back on Friday about. I'm not saying now what any of those plans are until I know for sure if it will happen, but I'll say this thing should be movin if things go my way :thumb:

Well the actual truck is going to be painted white this spring. I've just been painting accessories purple. Got some purple LEDs for it and some other doo dads all gonna be purple.

But now you got my mind racing on what you want to paint:dunno: :popcorn: I'm excited now :thumb:

Im guessing its a rattle can purple?

That is Plum most likely, looks like it anyways, I used same color on my truck for entertaining ladies. And it works better than any loud exhaust you can imagine.

Thanks everyone :pimp: yah I can't wait for summer now so I can hook the trailer up to the truck and have the raped grape on it going down the freeway to silver lake:thumb:

This thing is naughty tho broke the 38's loose on the highway doing 60 last night:doah:. And i only put the pedal about 1/3rd of the way down.:pimp: haven't found a road yet I can open this thing up on. I'm on the brakes before I can :popcorn:
