The restoration/modification of Daisy.

Looks like your sheet metal is pretty strait, should look good when its painted. :waytogo:
yeah, there are two dents on the truck. drivers front fender just under the body line above the corner light. and the driver's rear fender at the bottom edge on the back side where a shredded tire curled the edge back under a little bit.

Yes and no. The truck that the engine is in happens to be parked right next to the suburban right now. I've got a company truck now so here pretty soon the Chevy is going under the knife and donating its engine and trans to the suburban.

look what ive got!

Let me know. I live local to him so if you want me to take a look at them I can. Gives me an excuse to go look at the dana 60 and 70 he is selling lol.

sweet! worked out a deal with ThatK30guy for some hubs, no more full time slugs!

damn i need to get to work on my D60.. its been sitting on the shop floor for a couple weeks, the bearings need to be repacked, it needs a new yoke, steering arms, the rotors need to be cleaned up... damn new job is keeping me busy/wearing me out.

i feel like i'm making progress.
i ordered my WFO crossover steering arm/cover yesterday, i've got hubs and upper shock mounts on the way from a couple of CK5 members and i bought myself a d60 hub socket today. when i get back from vacation i'll buy tube, inserts, TREs, a pitman arm and a steering box. then all ive got left to install the 60 is repacking the bearings and cleaning it up a little.

hubs showed up today! i leave tomorrow for mexico for a week. by the time i get back i should have steering arms, upper and lower shock mounts in. getting there!

you know you really should just say screw it to the 60. I'll take it all off your hands. Say saturday? lol
