The restoration/modification of Daisy.

You should price the steel and call me. I might be able to make it worth the trip up here in November. Not gonna divulge my source, but I get a really good price on quantity

Its cuz they have the same freekin avatar! I thought this was mitches thread untill i went back a page and saw the bumper shots :haha:

Bagh! I'll fix that now!

There we go!

Wait, wait, wait...this is even more confusing for those of us who've gotten used to it! I've never had a problem telling you two apart (due to the green mod. tag and the color differences in the pictures), but today I completely failed to recognize that it was you posting when I first glanced through this thread... :doah:

(We will get used to it, though...)

Yeah it threw me off too. I do not approve.

Oh boy... What should i do?! In fairness, the one i just did away with had only been up for like 10 months. The one before that was on there for for like 4 years or more.

Holy thread hi-jack!!! :eek1:

No ****... While we're off topic, I have a question. Martin, why do you type "Martin" at the bottom of every post when you could just put in your signature and be done with it?

Everything went great today! Roughly 400mi, without issue. On the way up there , mostly up hill at 70-75mph, she got 14mpg. On the way back I'm thinking it was more like 15-16mpg, down hill, tail wind for half of it. I didn't top back off when I got home to verify. I wish we had time to do a little wheeling, we just drove around checking out the fall colors.

I crossed the 1000mi mark about 95mi from home.

And when I got home, I trimmed and rubbed this 18.5lb brisket for tomorrow.

I don't like signatures. I turn them off. Makes the board much cleaner.

Martin

That's part of what I like about tapatalk, no signatures. Except for yours, dammit!

Or Adam's...

How do you like the Grabbers Scott?

I'm really liking them. I can let go of the wheel at 80mph and she just goes straight. They're quiet and smooth, perhaps too quiet. They don't make any noise when you spin them like the goodyears did, I kinda miss that.

I'm very envious of the smoothness. I'm thinking about putting airsoft pellets in my tires to get them to be worth a poo.

Sweet. Hoping around tax return time the blazer may see a set

I have heard they ride really nice, but I have also heard they are pretty heavy. I just look at it as extra security to keep you wheels down though. :waytogo:
