The restoration/modification of Daisy.

Of the new arm doesn't work, I bet you could use your existing arm and ream it from the other side or worst case, drill it out and use one of those taper bushing jobs to relocate the end to the upper side of the arm. Looks like you would gain some good clearance that way. That and a good set of bump stops are in order.

I'd have to cut a big notch in the frame to make that happen. And yes sir air bumps are planned.

that would be neat, we could get all the western guys together in northern NV.

Hmm. We might have to do something with this idea. We need a cool location in northern NV with trails nearby and cool scenery. Maybe fishing.

I've decided that I like the springs enough to work around the issues. If I have to run a flat pitman arm and notch/ box the frame to clear it, so be it. I want to keep it low. Might need 12" shocks also.

Send me some pictures tomorrow of your problem. Or tonight. I'll Be Up Packing till About 11

Might I suggest the Black Rock and Smoke Creek deserts. There's a lot of absolutely beautiful scenery around the area. There's lots of trails and you drive on the actual Oregon trail through High Rock canyon. You can still see the ruts in the trail from the wagons. It's worth a peek or 3.

Ord recommended me 12 inches shocks when in got my first set of springs.

They didn't recommend shocks for me but I told them I already had 14s on the truck. I think at my current ride height a 12" should would be about perfect. I won't miss the 2" difference since I'm not using it all anyway.

I've heard black rock is beautiful. We need to make this happen, thinking next spring.

Next spring eh? I might have to get ol' Gru in order so I can partake in the fun too.

It's possible that even I could make it!

:whistle:I've been known to fly in to such events....:pimp:

Im down for a northern NV meetup in november or when ever. I can come down from Portland.

This is going to mean that my rig is going to have to run for this one huh? No bailing once we plan it this time. This won't be no day trip to McDonald's ;)

Shall we start a list of what needs to be done to each rig lol aka hijack this thing lol.

Replace IP
Freeze plugs
starter rebuild
brakes
Transmission service or rebuild.
bolt in cage
change all fluids and filters.
