The restoration/modification of Daisy.

Hey does anyone want my platform? As I've mentioned, I won't be putting it back in. If anyone wants it they're welcome to it, save it from being firewood.

I have a set of hood pins for the crew cab. One of these days I need to install them.

Thinking about relocating my transmission cooler similar to what you did. Curious how it's been working for you so far now that i's been a year?

I'm going to replace my hood pins with the ones that use a polyurethane insert in the hood, that black aluminum plate on the hood is already beat up from the steel snap ring pin wearing on it.

So far so good. No complaints except for the floor getting a little hot. I'll probably build a heat shield between the cooler and the floor. I wish I had a trans temp gauge to give you more info than that. It hasn't been damaged or leaked at all, I've rock crawled, towed and hit 65mph on dirt and haven't worried about it at all.

Luckily I don't have to worry about heat on the bed floor. Did you notice a difference in motor cooling with 1 less thing in front of the radiator? That's part of the reason I want to do it. The other thing is the header on the new motor is really close to the existing lines. I put a heat shield over them but I'd rather just route them away from additional heat sources.

Yep, that was the primary reason for doing it. I needed to get more air flow across the AC condenser and radiator.
