Yeah I saw your post after I hit send.
Looks like the marking in orange is where it should be.
There was a nut on it, so I'm assuming the orange was above the nut. I asked Wegner if they had instructions on adjusting it properly. If not I figure I'll just set it 1/2 turn from letting the throttle plate fully close. I'm assuming it's meant to keep the throttle from getting stuck shut.
 
I just wanted to address this comment with more detail. When I worked with Wegner ordering the kit, they took into account the displacement of my engine to pick the pulleys. I currently have a 3.7" and a 3.225" pulley, they said it would make about 7psi on the big pulley (it makes over 8) and 18psi on the small pulley (it made 16.4 on the dyno). That's spinning the blower 14% faster with the small pulley. They also sell a 4" and a 3" pulley. The 3" would be 23% faster, I may order that if it will get here in time.
I looked at the 3.8L blower (it's a direct bolt in swap on this kit), but decided not to go that way because it can't use the 4" pulley, 3.7 is as big as you can go. With the 3.7" pulley you're pushing 1000hp worth of air, I don't think you want that for a driver, especially if you don't have easy access to e85. That's why I went with the 3L.
After I posted it I remembered that you had talked it all through with wegner. And figured that was all calculated.
 
Wegner didn't know how to adjust that set screw either unfortunately. They did send me a picture of another blower that had the screw in place though and I submitted a ticket with Whipple to see if they could tell me how to adjust it (they're not known for good customer support unfortunately).
I set it where it barely hit the stop and turned it out another half turn. I took it for a drive, it makes about 9lbs on the 3000RPM 2 step now which is way better than the 6 lbs it was making before. I also saw 13lbs on the one pull I managed to do, but it was over 100 and humid AF so I'm sure that's why it was down on boost a bit.
I also may have ordered the smallest pulley (3.050") and a spare belt.
