Cook's Farm Dairy checkpoint. It was wild watching all the Amish kids watching us do burnouts when we left.

It's currently raining, so hopefully that's going to be done by morning and we can go racing again.

It did the same thing at ubly, we just didn't catch it. I'm not faulting gearstar on this. It was my tuning and driving that hurt it.

Did it by chance kick the limiter for a second when it slipped?

Mine was kicking the limiter last year shortly after shifting, some times just before, when I was hard in it. But I always thought it was a programming thing in the holley.
This year with the new correctly BUILT transmission that's not slipping, it doesn't do it anymore.

I believe it's an unmentioned holley failsafe or something :dunno:

No, it accelerated in second until about 5000-5500rpm, then the rpms shot straight up to the 2-3 shift point and it grabbed 3rd. It did this at ubly too, but drove fine after.
On the first two days I was so wrapped up in watching fuel, EGTs, and reading plugs that I forgot to look at my soft points. I'm bout supposed to shift at more than 6500 and it was hitting 7k+ before it would get into second fully. Between that and the burnouts, the 2nd gear clutches are unhappy.

Also, I'm pretty sure I ended up on second for nitrous, I'll find out at the awards ceremony here in a few.
