The "under destruction builds" supersize75k5 's driveway of despair and repair

Now you are making me wish I was going down, just to see this thing up close. Might even be able to take you up on that offer for the 8274, but unfortunately I won't be there this year for sure, and possibly not next year unless some things start going the right direction soon.

finally played with it :)

:doah:

I may or may not have ripped my lower bumper and lightsoff the truck today:whistle: I may or may not have hung up the the frame, diff, rocker, abs lines, and a wee bit on a door.. maybe some scratchesI may or may not have fully underestimated and forgot how it was to get back to martizez mine cabin..

I managed not to pop off any tie rods and got out of there as the sun said adios. :doah: ahhhh.

You are a fu&ked person!:doah:
Leave that poor truck on simple two tracks..don't kill it!

Save that sh&t for the crawler man... you can wait... No?

Sounds like it needs a 60....lol. A little plasma/torch action and its all fixed...lol.

Put smaller tires on the regular cab, then use that for the offroad urge...its already pre bent for ya so no worries...lol

Buggy is looking good Shawn. I'm surprised you're waiting for it to actually be done before wheeling though.

The GMC is starting to give me flashbacks from about 4 years ago.

Trying to take my time with it, there are things I have really wanted to do with or have on a 4x4 for a long time so it's worth it.

Sadly I'm starting to doubt my goal of making blazer bash, I just am too damn busy to work on it much lately. Its 10 and I'm just now winding down, and already busy every night this week, and family coming in on Sunday. :doah:

We shall see.

You going the year:confused:

worked on the buggy a little last night

Got some more time to put into this lately, but its pretty hot.. today was 115 and even at 9pm it was flirting with 100 :doah:

Tossed on the car cover and installed some temporary AC while I work:pimp::pimp::pimp::pimp::pimp::pimp::pimp::haha:

tonight I used the hole saw to install the down stream breaker on the hinged electrical panel and laid out some things.

Its ruffed out and the pic quality sucks but it shows the plan.

The fuses and wiring to the right is the engine harness and relay along with a space for a spare.

Next up to the left is the blue sea systems fuse panel I will use to provide 12 volt power to all the accessories that have a on-off switch like the cb, radio, heater, gps, siren-horn, and future race radio. While the panel from Trent fab will directly power the rest. The all data plug and check engine light will be mounted below the panel near the reset switch for the circuit. Not sure If I will relocate the light to the dash or not.

So currently where I am at is ready to make a harness to the rear of the buggy, the front, the dash and the top roof area. I want to keep the wiring out of the console being the trent fab panel has a big firewall style plug and I will need to remove my transmission from the cab in the future.

Being my chassis has a lot of headroom and it wont impact my vision I am going to place the cb, siren-horn, future race radio and some slim speakers up top.

You going the year:confused:

I'm glad to see you're not rushing this one. :waytogo:

Really doubt I'll make it to BB this year. With the little one, no $$, and I'm working on getting the house ready to sell and we're headed back to Texas. I've said that a couple times in the past few years so maybe it'll happen this time around. :dunno: Honestly I can't believe BB is almost here again already.

:haha::haha::haha::thumb:

Is it SAS time yet?

No, there is still strike 3 to be had.

Upper ball joint decided to cash in an early on its retirement.. Took out the brake line, abs line, broke the rim and punctured the tire.

Was able to get it jacked up, spare on, brakes vise gripped off and the socket just wobbled in the hole of the a arm and I attempted to drive out.. But one bad bump and I took out the sidewall on my spare.

Had a ball joint, air, ball joint press and a fll size tire brought out and fixed it with help, drove it home:thumb:

Not the adventure I planned but anyway wheeling is a better day than working. Now I get to fix all this crap:doah:

You need to go to Cognito and beef the front of that truck up. Upper control arms with bolt in ball joints, HD tie rods and pitman and idler arm braces will be much more "Shawn resistant" than stock parts
