The "under destruction builds" supersize75k5 's driveway of despair and repair

I thought that truck looked familiar last night

I saw only one of your runs and it looked really good

My friends wanted me to take my blazer out there but 3.08 gears and a stock 6.2 doesn't match up to well with mud

Sounds like great gas milage though:D

I had a few runs where it felt great, bumped up the line pressure and raised the shift points 500 rpms on the shifts before I ran it, felt solid but the very end of that pit is damn sticky as hell.

You need to put all your broken parts in a pile and take a picture. I'll make a new Motivation Poster since your carnage count put mine to shame.

Sounds like id need a huge box!

Damn that's a lot of carnage all at one time! Good luck with that, I hope you get it fixed before the next go round!

He would've broken it. No trans likes neutral drops :doah:

I was not neutral dropping, scouts honor :thumb:

guessing the overdrive planetaries again?, hmm dunno.

I am focusing on the jeep rubicon to go wheeling saturday now that the 07 is down, so it will be a mystery till I can pull it out and have a looky at what blew.

Not sure if I will just toss another one in, or have what broke repaired and just keep on truckin orrrr? I do still stand firm on wanting to stay with an overdrive. I guess I will have to hold off on more power until I give up or spend a crap load on 1 trans.

No wonder you break stuff, you would be fun to watch! I've never seen someone take an ailing tranny and just practically floor it, bounce it off the rev limiter, and wait for it to move. And then I was thinking, those ramps look crooked...he's going to miss one...but I guess you don't care! I've seen other places where people drive like that, I'm trying to recall where....oh wait, I remember, monster jam! :haha::thumb:

My buddy jason thought it was a step in the right direction that I at least got the ramps out.:thumb: I do need to lower/ chop the box on the front of my trailer, it is very convenient to be able to unload off the front of it.

Its time to get this buggy's 14 bolt going :)

The inner c's came in, had Andrew over at letzroll offroad order them for the actual OD of the 14 bolts tubes.

Also having him do the ballistic shave kit install for me and machine the sleeve and weld it up.

With any luck I can mock it up and have me a roller in a week or two.:pimp:

BTW Shawn, I was doing some calculations... I can't use 4.10's with the Ally. I'm going to have to spring for some 4.56's. Luckily, I know where I can score new Superiors for $220 a set.

i will still help you with your gear swap tho :thumb:

OOOO tay.

Well give me a holler this week:thumb:

I'm sure it's been said at some point in the last 1,136 posts in this thread but why not buy a diesel work truck/tow rig that's a year or two old and then wheel the white truck and the buggy?
Seems smarter than adding on more and more trucks. The diesel is a nice DD/Tow Rig and would get better mileage than the gassers.
Cutting down on the number of trucks you have to register/insure/maintain just makes good economic sense.

was going through this thread to find a pic and saw this.

hey avery...:haha:
