finally!

After 2 companies dropping the ball, 1 closing his doors I finally have a custom back lit, prewired, reset breakered, awesome panel for the buggy.

Out of curiosity why didn't you just go with 12 volt guy right off the bat?

I wanted to but he said 4-12 weeks.. then I checked in at 4 weeks and was told another 8-12 weeks for a big project like mine. He also did not want or was not able to offer the back lighting and the wiring the way I got it with the fancy plug. Trentfabrication works with a company right down the road from them that wires and does panels for emergency vehicles so they are pretty good at it.

so the trentfab connection did it? Didnt' see who actually produced this one. Looks good

the company that made it does not market it to the public, they have you go through trent fabrication to streamline it. I went through Dave at trent fab and it was easy breezy.

Price was 7xx.00 or 8xx.00 something irrc

I have access to a laser engraver. I now know what I can do on the side. Build buggy guys switch pannels

Had a two month hiatus but back and with progress:D

Front panel is powdercoated and currently figuring out what I want to do for a insert, either expanded steel or mess, or maybe smaller expanded steel

Dash lay out is coming together, took many tries but what we ended up with was a removable panel piece, using a frame with nut certs that bolts in. the layout feel really nice and I have a cut up tuffy locking TJ console with a side mount for a 8 inch subwoofer. Should provide some nice storage and its thickly padded to rest my elbow on.

Going to powdercoat the dash and metal for the console blue and the tuffy part will go silver. Mighhhht send the padded part to twisted stick to get covered in matching fabric, not sure if I care that much but it could be a nice touch.

trans mount and motor mounts are done now too.

This proved to be a NIGHTMARE.:doah: I decided to get more uptravel in the front, ended up moving the motor back 3 inches... so that meant reworking the motor and trans mount, exhaust, drivelines, accessory brackets, alternator location, radiator mount, piece of the floor support, couple hydro lines and resi mount.

In general what a pain in the ass, but now much more dollars later I have 1.5 more inches of suspension uptravel.:1zhelp::screwy:

Other things in this pic, another vertical tube in the A piller, I was not happy with the way it was and just felt it needed a little more for how I plan to treat this thing.

Also the light bar mount is done, was able to keep it out of my vision, but not higher that the crown of the roof by much if any. Still will fit in a regular garage for storage at right hight.
