I put 36x12.50x16.5 tsl sx on my dually. 2" rear spacers. flat front springs with a zero rate in the center position .
Do you have some pics? I'd like to use the stock wheels and just blast them and paint them black. I don't mind putting on a rear spacer. Do you think you could have gotten away with a 1" spacer, or was 2" really needed?I put 36x12.50x16.5 tsl sx on my dually. 2" rear spacers. flat front springs with a zero rate in the center position .

Ha! I've had that first pic of your truck saved on my computer for years. Love it! So that is nothing other than a zero rate on the front? What about the back? How did those tires wear? I had thought about going with the SX's too.
Good to know about the hub centric. I ran into that hub centric issue on my wife's SUV. Thought it was the tires at first, but it just needed the hub centric lip. Tire shop was pretty tired of rebalancing the tires over and over! I would hope those spacers are BEEFY at $370/pair...that pic is real grainny . need better pic .
and ya 255/85/16 is tall skinny drw used tire guys run .
also if spacer in rear to make tires not rub make sure it has the hub centric lip on it like this guy makes . or outer drw will NOT center up as drw rims are hub centric. http://www.wheeladapter.com/dually_spacers.php I have used his stuff before BEEFY made good quality stuff.
I think 35s would clear without issue. 36s might be pushing it.that pic is real grainny . need better pic .

Yeah, it's probably going to ride like a covered wagon. I've only driven it once, and that was ten years ago when I drove it up onto the trailer I towed it home with. Not much seat time to see how stiff it was. My original intention was to part it out, but I've decided I like it too much for that. I was told the guy that had it before used to move houses with it, and it was set up for hauling not a comfy ride. I might change the suspension if it ends up being horrible, but I'm going to get it running again before I worry about that.dam that's got to ride like a tank . looks like 6 leaf fronts![]()
