A desecration to Mopar nuts everywhere, this is my protouring, LS-powered, 1970 Dodge Charger; built at my shop, Willomet Motor & Fabrication.
Not as much as I planned. It was a beautiful day, so we filled the Camelbaks and went on a long local hike with the dog.
I did finish up that patch. Many more to go.

How do you like the .030 for sheet metal? I found I like the .024 a little better as it appeared that I didn't need to grind down as much weld.

they make a wire for bodywork that's a easy grind .

I prefer .023" for body sheet too...and I've heard that 'easy grind' wire was good.
Thank you! .030 is not my ideal for 18ga and thinner, but the rockers and rails are mostly 14ga, and it works well there. I'll step down to .024 for the exterior panels.
Great reference - I've heard about the easy ground wire, but never used it.

Grabbing hours through the week, I finished smoothing out the accessible rust pits on the rocker. I'll have to fab a repair patch for the rest of the outer rocker, but will wait for that until the inner rocker is reassembled.
I spent one evening making a drawing for how the inner rocker would reassemble, and that steel should arrive tomorrow.
Finished work on a client project a bit early, and managed to get the k member stabbed. That included cutting off all the factory bump stop brackets.
Plenty of room for the LQ4.
UPS should have a nice package for me tomorrow.
