The Willomet Charger

A desecration to Mopar nuts everywhere, this is my protouring, LS-powered, 1970 Dodge Charger; built at my shop, Willomet Motor & Fabrication.
Changing up the dry sump fittings. Normal NPT to AN with a 90 is too bulky, and oil lines between primaries seems like a bad idea, even if everything is insulated.

So, -12AN O-ring banjos it is.

Oil lines will go vertical, run along the oil pan flange. That keeps the big -12 oil lines a minimum of 2 inches from any primary. This generally matches the remote oil filter setup.

Snazzy! Although that does add more places that have a chance to leak with it being a swivel.
Yeah, I don’t love more o-rings. I’ll have to make sure these are Viton or another high temperature synthetic.

I am also playing with the idea of making a custom fitting block. It’s not a complicated part.

Halfway there.

Pulled this apart to get all the joints fully tacked. 3 and 5 are 41” and 4 and 6 are 43.5”. The pairs match to within an inch. Now to make 1/7 and 2/8 match their respective crossover pairs.
