Thanks dude. I’m pleased with them, and while they’re not perfect, they are all mine.Sweet welds, Brother!
My wire wheel on the Contour SCT will end up doing a bit of blending, but I’m generally leaving welds exposed.Looks great as always. Are you going to do a little smoothing on those outside edges or let your beautiful welds live on?
Thanks Zim. The trans mount is forward of this by about a foot, and I haven’t drawn that one up yet. This little guy is there just to keep the frame together at that critical junction. The void between this mount and the trans mount is reserved for an x-pipe.David is that a trans mount as well? Just wondering about the tubes welded in the crossmember?
Looks great man!
It’s a deceptive photo. It’s level to the frame within 0.1*, which is probably the error range for my little digital gauge. With the horizontal wood paneling, and the frame never quite level in the rotisserie, it does appear to be all jacked up.That last pic, is it just the angle of the pic or is something kinda off kilter?
It's more the fact you didn't take the picture in the axis on the center of the frameIt’s a deceptive photo. It’s level to the frame within 0.1*, which is probably the error range for my little digital gauge. With the horizontal wood paneling, and the frame never quite level in the rotisserie, it does appear to be all jacked up.
David

I have nightmares about crooked stuff....2 Higgs-bosons tolerance...
Thanks Zim. This one was a lot of fun to make, and I think I’m hitting a stride.Get back to work...lol another excellent video!
David where did Willomet come from?
Also what are you coating the metal with?...it looks like a phosphate coating?
