The Willomet Charger

A desecration to Mopar nuts everywhere, this is my protouring, LS-powered, 1970 Dodge Charger; built at my shop, Willomet Motor & Fabrication.
Wheelhouse extension done, with overlap from the inner to the outer. These things are time vampires.

One more piece to fill the front inner corner profile, and then I’ll start to mirror on the other side. But first, it’s time to go deer hunting.

I’ve done business with that guy. Good stuff. Not cheap stuff…
It’s slick stuff for sure, and I didn’t get (or really expect) any meaningful discount. He’s a difficult guy to work with, and he knows he’s got some of the highest quality gear, so, “no one rides for free.” I’ll make plenty from the content, and suspension is a place worth investing.

Front arms and knuckles mocked up. This combination creates a 60" wide front end, the widest available from CW, and reinforces the notion that the charger is a factory widebody.

The front unit bearings are the same as the rear, though they aren't interchangeable. It's an evolved version of the C6 Z06 bearing, and made to handle lots of side load from slinging heavy cars around on sticky rubber.

It's all organized, sorted, and stowed. Also, I forgot to order the watts link, like a dummy. I'll get that incoming next week.
