thinking about painting my truck... (NEW PICS POST #35)

Red main body, silver cab roof, and lower panels. This was the combo on my 85, don't see too many painted that way, I thought it looked real good.
The Red was Apple Red I think code 72, and the Silver was Quicksilver code 17?

Guess I'm in the minority then. I liked the last pic of the first batch with the black & blue. I'm partial to blue and my rig when finished will be painted up very much like that really sweet propane truck on mogs that sold a while back.
i like the brown and black.. looks sharp...
i probably won't do the phoenix on the hood this time. i'll probably think up something to do tho - i tend to have to do something other than plain. we'll see.
green is good.

Personally, I hate white on a vehicle, black top all the way... The right green or brown with the black would be badarse...

Well when I voted for brown I knew I could have evened up the playing field by not doing so and tied it at 8 votes a piece, however I went down town and voted brown..
this green thing is just a pre primary stir up and should not be taken seriously, its too early to be getting in bed with any colors yet, just hold fast and alot will develop
brown will get the crown!

i think the red and white would be nice on something that isn't a trail rig - maybe a tow rig - but then it wouldn't be a blazer.
i think i'll snap photos of my rig today and chop 'em into a more finalized concept.
well, i think i'm pretty well decided on the green. what do you guys think of the extra stripe? i think it's kinda cool.

The finalized colors(post#35)are great.I've had a 2-tone scheme with those colors in my mind for years.Could you try this:
Green from the body-line up,Brown below that,with the double black stripe on the bottom.
And this:
Brown from body-line up,Green below,double black bottom
I think the green and brown together would look sweet

if you post up a photo of the profile of your truck with a background of a very different color than the color of your truck, i'll do it to your vehicle for you. what color do you want the top?
