Im located in NY. I know this is a full size/ truck forum however im involved in the third gen f body scene. I have parts from various cars if anyone needs anything please post and I have ill tell you to pm. I part cars down to the unibody and send the rotted hulls off to the scrapper.

Thirdgen= 82-92

How about an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? Or maybe you can tell me what part I need to keep fuel pressure from bleeding off. I have to prime for like 5 seconds if it's been sitting for a while.

I just run a Holley fuel pressure regulator, it is one of the best things I have done to help my qjet.

Ever see an original fiberglass hood with the early single fake vent for a camaro? They were on some of the pace cars and I believe other 84-85 pre iroc cars.. They look like the crossfire hoods, but came just after.

We have a guy here who manufactures all sorts of fuel injectors and makes a AFPR. Hes very reasonably priced. I myself do not have a AFPR. This guy also sells very reasonable priced re-manned TBI injectors. So cheap im sure everyone on the forum would order a pair.

Saw someone sell the whole front fiberglass end off a 82 for $300. Im sure it didnt last long. Im in contact with a camaro guy he might have one let you know. I can imagine shipping a hood would be a bitch, youd prob have to drive up from boston with a pickup to get it.

Yeah, it's not a bad drive depending where you are in ny. I have been looking for one of those hoods for my car for years. That was the original hood for my car, but when I bought it from the original owner they had told me they shut the garage door on it and split it in half and just bought an iroc hood for it.

idiots lol. Sorry dude he says he doesnt have one. If I come across one youll be the first to know. Join our club NYTHIRDGEN. Your probably on THIRDGEN.Org but were a great group of tight knit guys and we can help if you have any problems more direct than the global forum.

How about rear diffs? I understand a disk braked rear out of one of them is a bolt in up grade to my 2nd gen. Have you heard such a thing?

No, third gens are coil spring. You need a read end out of a trans am from the late 70s early 80s. I forget the specific year.

get a rear out of a 69 camaro (good luck)

option RPO JL8

they dropped this option for second generations f-bodys.

dont understand why :doah:

79-81 trans am's had disk as an option. kinda rare car these days for as many that where built.

Got any louvers for an IROC hood? Or even some '91-'92 hood blisters? How about red front seatbelt buckles?

If you ever come this way, I've got a nice factory SMC hood. Without the real flappers, just the fake ones.

Brakes yes, rear axle is a no. You can also use the rear disc brakes from the later S10 Blazers. There was 2wd and 4x4, one was staggered calipers and one was not, I don't remember which was which. I also don't remember which you would need, but one fits better due to shock clearance.

.

I'm unfamiliar with the smc term? I'd trade you my iroc hood if yours is fiberglass.

Most would call it fiberglass and yes it's the factory '84 hood. It's technically called SMC, I forget what it stands for... 'something' molded composite. They had a tendency to separate where the skin and frame were bonded together. Last I messed with mine, it wasn't coming apart but liquid nails does a good job of repairing them. I also have a steel '84 hood, but it has some rust in the front corners.

Oh, and I'd gladly take an IROC hood as trade.

That would be great now how do I get my car to ohio:doah:

My hood is actually in excellent shape with no rust at all.

I actually shipped a Firebird hood once and it wasn't too awful expensive... but that was about a decade ago, lol. I'd bet shipping is through the roof now. I'd be willing to meet somewhere, but the furthest east I tend to go is eastern Ohio or West Virginia.

Do you have any TPI ECM's?

As far as hoods, I have an SMC Camaro hood, but the front corner is broken on it. Would have to be repaired. I don't want anything for it though.

I'm going to Rausch Creek on the weekend of June 22nd.
