Pismo Beach Ca. This hill is called Competition hill. You can just imagine what goes on here! It's pretty cool on holidays. Just imagine being on top of a sand dune and looking back down at night time and seeing about 40 bon fires and 150+ vehicles, 100's of quads and three wheelers and smelling all those fumes. One of the perks of being a Blazer man.

That's a great shot, I love to fly but my K5 isn't set up for that,...yet.

This was actually my first time out with my 73 Blazer. My buddy told me to just hammer the throttle. I did! He forgot to tell me to let up about 10 ft from the top. When I got out I looked at my drivers seat and it was shapped like a Hersey's Kiss.

I've been wanting to go to Pismo for a while now. My Blazer isn't really set up for the sand, I've got mud terrains. Will I have to worry about getting stuck too much. How is it for bringing the family, can the kids go play in the water?

just air down mud tires will work just fine

chvyhs,

Pismo is great, actually the whole area near and around pismo beach is great. You can take your kids, if you want you can have them dig for clams depending on the time of year. you will need a fishing license. There are other nice places within 15-20 minute drive of pismo that you can go out and explore, too.

You can take the whole family. You can even take a trailer and stay over night for $6-$7 per night. They have porta potties on the beach. Or you can camp back in the dunes (no trailer) they have nicer B/R's out there. No running water though. Lot's of fun. Just be safe cause' some people aren't! Aired down muds are good sand tires. 10-12 psi. is good.
